Services available for employers

Background causes of stress-related ailments and disorders may be found with the individual in their private life as well as in the work situation. Most often, it is a combination of these factors that lies behind sick leave due to stress-related ill-health. Stressmottagningen has the skills and resources to help in both of these situations. We offer our services in both Swedish and English.

Stressmottagningens services

Presentations are a great way of increasing knowledge or awareness and ours are full of practical advice and tips.

Our workshops aim to teach and test strategies that can prevent ill-health or discomfort and increase well-being. We have great respect for the fact that most people have already developed their own toolbox full of strategies and we strive to strengthen these or provide new alternatives. It is often advantageous with a combination of presentations and workshops.

  • Our occupational therapists have scientific knowledge and broad experience of working with stress-related ill-health, setting health-promoting activity levels, supporting work adjustments and return to work after a period of sick-leave.
  • Our physical therapists have great competence in preventing and managing stress through physical exercises. They can lead workshops or hold a course at your place of work. Their repertoire includes body awareness, mindfulness, relaxation, breathing and other health-promoting activities.
  • Our psychologists/psychotherapists have broad experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and organisational behaviour management. They offer experience-based initiatives to increase awareness and encourage new skills for effective long-term stress management both at home and work.

Additionally, we offer individual sessions with our psychologists with focus either on prevention or treatment for stress-related ill-health. Our specialist areas are work-related stress, fatigue and sleep disturbance. All our individual sessions are based on third-wave Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, more specifically, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Our staff are all licensed practitioners in their field with licenses from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) and have clinical experience within stress-related rehabilitation.

We look forward to hearing from you and discussing a solution that fits your specific requirements.
